Indie Films Fernie presents Anna KareninaPosted: March 3, 2013

Due to an error Rust and Bone won’t be shown by Indie Films Fernie on Monday, March 4. In its place, there will be a 7 p.m. showing of Anna Karenina at the Vogue Theatre.

Robert Roten of Laramie Movie Scope said the film is “a clever and gorgeous-looking adaptation of the great novel which intricately combines theater and cinema.”

The third collaboration of Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley with acclaimed director Joe Wright, following the award-winning box office successes Pride & Prejudice and Atonement, it is a bold, theatrical new vision of the epic of love, adapted from Leo Tolstoy’s timeless novel by Academy Award winner Tom Stoppard.

The story powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart. As Anna (Knightley) questions her happiness and marriage, change comes to all around her.

Tickets: Available at the door and online (annakareninafernie.eventbrite.com)
