Irish Rovers bringing Drunken Sailor tour to Key City

The Irish Rovers will be appearing at Cranbrook’s Key City Theatre mere weeks after the release their latest album, Drunken Sailor.

Most of the Rovers’ albums over the last 20 years were recorded in both Canada and Ireland on their own record label, Rover Records, which is about to release their next album, Drunken Sailor in September, 2011. This release was spurred on by the fact that their recording of Drunken Sailor recently gained over three million hits on You Tube. Their much anticipated single, Whores and Hounds will be released within the next few weeks. Don’t miss this opportunity to see them LIVE at the Key City Theatre on Sept 27.

Original members George Millar and Wilcil McDowell will perform with John Reynolds and Sean O’Driscoll who have been playing with the band for nearly 20 years, and drummer, Fred Graham who has been touring with the lads since 2007.

Will Millar left the group in 1994, and sadly Jimmy Ferguson passed away in 1997. In 2005 Joe Millar also retired from the band, while his son, Ian Millar took up the family ranks.

The Irish Rovers are passionate about performing and continue to tour and entertain their legions of fans. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime opportunity to hear such hits as Unicorn, Come Fill up Your Glass, Still Rovin and of course Drunkin Sailor, live at the Key City Theatre on Sept. 27, at 7:30 pm.

Buy your tickets now at the Key City Theatre box office. Tickets are $42.50 including HST and are available at the Key City Theatre box office, or charge by phone at 250-426-7006. On sale now!
