Norbert Kögging graduated from the Masters Vocal Jazz program at the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2009 following a trip to the Banff Centre’s ‘Creative Music Winter Residency’ and considers Canada his second homeland.

Køgging’s music can be described as vocal indie jazz. Intimate but energetic, forceful but subtle, distinct but dreamy.

Inspired by artists like Brad Mehldau, John Mayer en David Linx. Køgging is Norbert Kögging  on vocals,  Folkert Oosterbeek on piano, Tobias Nijboer on bass, and Felix Schlarmann on drums. All of the compositions on the new album are collaborations between both Kögging and Oosterbeek
