Kootenay’s Best Singer chosenPosted: June 29, 2012

The finals for the Kootenay’s Best Singer were held Saturday evening (June 16) at the Alliance Church. Fourteen amazing performances were given, but sadly there can only be one winner. Cranbrook’s Trena Spears (pictured) took home the honors of being the season one winner of Kootenays Best Singer. The other four finalists were Matt Hansen (second), Jesse Dumas and Jarius Stonehouse (third), Victoria Walker (fourth) and Connor Parnall rounded out the top five.

Promoter Vern Gorham would like to thank all his sponsors who made this contest happen; the media that covered the event; all the judges; the places that sold tickets; the fans who came out to watch and support the events; all the singers; and the Alliance Church for the use of their beautiful facility, sound was fantastic in there
