Local author giving Booked! reading
Head to the Fernie Heritage Library Oct. 15 as Kara Stanley presents a reading on her book ‘Fallen,’ the compelling story of Kara’s husband’s life-changing brain and spinal cord injury and the role of music, science and love in recovery.
The reading is part of the Booked! Fernie Writers’ Series 2015, starting at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.
Doors open at 7 p.m. There will be a cash bar and live music by Redgirl and Simon Paradis.
