Moonglow to help close Kimberley Kaleidoscope

Moonglow, a date night duo from Kaslo, is performing Torchlit throughout the Kootenays this summer.

moonglowtorchlittourEastMoonglow has been performing together for five years, with Shauna Clapp on vocals and Eric Moon on guitar. The duo performs classic and original arrangements of torch and jazz standards – and some more recent heartbreaks – with tingling soul. Shauna channels the torch singers from the seedy speakeasies of New York and Chicago, where the path of love never did run true. Eric’s guitar gives voice to the heights of love and the depths of loss.

Moonglow will appear at Boccalino in Kootenay Bay on the August 8, the Snoring Sasquatch in Creston August 9, and will be the closing show of the Kimberley Kaleidoscope Arts Festival August 10 at Centre 64.

Support from the Columbia Kootenay Cultural Alliance makes this tour possible.
