The sounds of the Maritimes to the mountains
Hailing from Nova Scotia and the Rocky Mountains, Lynnea Rose and Amelie Patterson are two Canadian songstresses who bring a mixture of Celtic-infused folk songs with a pinch of pop and country, blues and rock with influences ranging from Van Morrison and Janis Joplin to Amos Lee and the Rankins.
It’s easy to hear their roots in their music, from the mountains and Maritimes to campfires and the Celtic connection, this duo is not to be missed Tuesday, February 17 at 8 p.m. at The Arts Station, 601 1st Ave, Fernie.
