Sweet 16 for Fall Fair and Scarecrow Festival
The 16th Windermere Fall Fair and Scarecrow Festival will be held at the Windermere Community Hall and Windermere Elementary School field this Saturday, Sept. 12.
Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the festival features a full day of entertainment.
Music, food, vendors of all kind, fresh vegetables and fruit, magic, wife carrying races, scarecrows of many form, competitions and a great foaming of children courtesy the Windermere Fire Department are some of the fun things available for the entire family to enjoy.
“Bring a blanket and enjoy the day listening to amazing local acts – and take our word for it – the special guest with L8 is very special! You won’t want to miss it,” the Festival Facebook page notes.
Entertainment schedule
Combo Akimbo 10 – 10:50 a.m.
Bud & Stacey Decosse 11 – 11:50 a.m.
Rolf Heer, the Radium Woodcarver 12 – 12:30 p.m.
The Halfsacks 12:45 – 1:45 p.m.
L8 with special guest! 2 – 3 p.m.
The Amazing Jeremy Coyote 3:10 – 4 p.m.
The always hilarious Wife Carrying races will be at 1 p.m.
Admission is $6/adults, $2/kids over 6,; free for kids under 6.
Please leave pets at home.
