The 27th annual Valley Appreciation Day – a fun-filled family event focusing on appreciation for all the wonderful things the Columbia Valley has to offer – is this Saturday, July 19.

Based in downtown Invermere, Valley Appreciation Day has evolved over the last 27 years into a celebration of the Columbia Valley lifestyle.

This downtown Invermere festival will host the service clubs’ complimentary pancake breakfast, Canal Flats’ Gagne Family logging show, a stage show, cart races and live entertainment.

Incorporated into the event will be a market offering a variety of goods that cannot be found at the adjacent Invermere Farmer’s Market as well as children’s activities and interactive games.
