Kick-Off pancake breakfast at Tamarack Centre

Cranbrook’s Tamarack Centre is hosting a Sam Steele Days kick-off charity pancake breakfast on Thursday, June 13, from 8 to 11 a.m.

All money raised from the breakfast will benefit the Kootenay Child Development Centre. A minimum donation of $5 is suggested.

The breakfast will be held outside of Bulk Barn at Tamarack Centre (use Winners entrance in case of rain).

Save On Foods is the food sponsor, Tim Hortons is providing Coffee and Chef Jaime Gordon of Green Door Catering is cooking the meal.

Old Tyme Photos will be providing a Chuck wagon, while Daisy Mae the Cowgirl is making balloon animals and Just Music will provide some sounds.

The Kootenay Child Development Centre is a regional centre where parents access health and development services for their children, ages 0 – 19 years.

The centre, which has been operational for one year, provides services in a one-stop easily accessible location. This has improved service delivery and has helped to reduce stress and travel for families. Any support from the community greatly enhances the centre’s ability to continue to provide excellent care and is very much appreciated.
