We’re on the countdown to the 2015 Business Competition! Starting February 2nd, 2015, local youth will be reporting on positive experiences in local Cranbrook businesses by using the hashtag #cbkyouthfriendly on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (snap a photo of the business). The competition ends on April 30th 2015, and the top reported local business in each of the following categories will be announced as 2015 Youth Friendly, have a write-up in the CBK Youth column in the Daily Townsman, and will receive free advertising on this webpage the CBK Youth Facebook page.

For local youth, one author of a submission will be chosen each week as a winner of a $20.00 gift certificate from the 2014 winners: Hot Shots, The Choice and Kootenay Roasting Company.
The CBK Youth Action Team will also be doing 6 “Mystery Shops” throughout the competition. The chosen businesses will receive a report and a shout-out on our Facebook page about what they are doing to be youth friendly!
