Key City Theatre Gallery and Cranbrook & District Arts Council are proud to present the first ever home-town exhibit of world-renowned photographer Joel Robison.  Joel has been actively been involved in the photography community across the globe for the past 6 years yet he has never shown his work in Cranbrook.

He tells stories with photographs that allow the viewer to experience an emotion and create their own story. Joel strongly believes in sending a positive message through art and in summer of 2013 he, along with 3 fellow photographers, created a non-profit workshop tour, The Wild Ones,  that took them across the United States and Canada over 2 months, sharing his skills with over 100 students. He has moderated the Coca-Cola Flickr account and more recently was the lead photographer in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, capturing happiness in 90 countries over a 9 month period. He currently lives and creates photos in the U.K.

Telling Stories – The Photography of Joel Robison will run at Key City Theatre Gallery August 17 through to September 12.  A Reception is planned for August 27.
Joel will present a hands-on Photography Workshop August 28-29 for a special price of $149.  You can sign up online at joelrobison.com/workshops
