Tonight is the Gala Public Reception for the 10th annual Arts on the Edge adjudicated exhibition of paintings & sculptures, photographs & fibre arts, ceramics and mixed media artworks. Tonight, starting at 7.30 pm in the Gallery at Centre 64, you are invited to sample the complimentary appetizers and enjoy the selection of wines at the
no-host bar while you view the artworks on display and listen to the music of the Don Davies Jazz Quartet. At approx. 8 pm following some words of welcome from the Mayor and the Arts Council president, the prizes will be awarded to the winning artists. Meanwhile, in the dance studio, you can bid on a variety of artworks and other items in the Arts on the Edge silent auction, the annual fund-raiser for the festival. Winning bids will be announced during the evening which will draw to a close at about 10 pm
Tickets are $12, available at Centre 64, The Snowdrift Café, and at the door.
