Locomotive Ghost “Seasons” Release Tour
Locomotive Ghost’s live show highlights their bold, dynamic indie-folk sound interwoven with pop, country, alt-rock, and hip-hop references as they create an experience that is “at once artistically expressive, accessible, fun and full of small surprises” (Avenue Calgary).
The group is touring in support of “Seasons”, the conclusive compilation from their limited edition, vinyl record series of the same name. The new CD release catalogues the group’s entire conceptual exploration of lyrical themes, musical styles, and sonic textures relating to life, love, and the passage of time.
Locomotive Ghost’s return to Cranbrook marks a homecoming for front-man Mike Buckley. The event will also feature another Calgary based band that Mike is a part of, the Well Mannered Thieves. The alt-rock group will perform a rare acoustic set to begin the evening.
Doors open at 7:00, show begins at 8:00.
