Join the girls from Kimberley’s Roller Derby Team – The Bavarian Barbarians – for our “Fresh Meat” training.
This will be a 6-night training program for new skaters. Now’s your chance to spend some quality hours on skates, learn some basic skills, and get to know our team.
Derby 101 will run Monday and Wednesday evenings, December 1 – 17, between 6:30pm – 8:30pm, at the KNC gym in Cranbrook. Drop-ins are welcome, so even if you can’t make every session, we’d love to see you for the ones you can make!
If you didn’t make it to our Info Night, but still want to try the sport or become a referee, official, or volunteer, please come to any (or all) of our Derby 101 nights. There will be plenty of team members providing training and information.
Skates and protective gear will be provided.
No experience is necessary, but you must be over 18 years of age … and don’t think you’re too old because our oldest team member will be 48 this month!
