Over 20 groups registered and took part in last week’s Springtime Spruce Up campaign around the City of Cranbrook, including schools, businesses, community organizations and individuals.

Three hundred garbage bags were given out to those who helped spruce up areas of the city including: Rotary, Idlewild, McKinnon, Pop Price and Viking Skate parks, along with Joseph Creek around the Tamarack Mall and behind Save On Foods. Elizabeth Lake, the Community Forest, King Street, Gold Creek Road and various neighbourhoods around Cranbrook were also spruced up.

A big thank you to all the groups and individuals who participated in the spring clean-up, which ran from April 17-23.
