Council info more accessible through new portal
City of Cranbrook residents can now easily access all information related to city council meetings through a new web portal launched today.
The portal provides much improved transparency and user-friendly access to information and records about council agendas, minutes, municipal bylaws and committee minutes along with quick and easy access to complete council agenda packages.
“The portal will develop over time as information related to council meetings, our bylaws and Committees of Council are posted on a regular basis,” said Chris Zettel, Corporate Communications Officer for the City of Cranbrook. “All the records are searchable by key word and document type through the e-Resources and search section.”
E-Updates and notifications of newly posted agendas are also available if you subscribe.
“We are always working toward finding ways to help our residents, business owners and visitors alike find the information they need about the city quickly and easily,” Zettel said. “This is another good step forward in that ongoing process.”
Visit the city website and click on the “Meetings and Bylaws” icon on the homepage to access the portal.
