Boil Water Notice issued for Fernie
Responding to a ‘Poor’ rating on the Turbidity Index, the City of Fernie has issued a Boil Water Notice effective September 23.
Customers are advised to use a safe alternative or water intended for drinking, washing fruits or vegetables, and brushing teeth should be boiled for one minute.
Interior Health has been fully involved and the public will be notified when conditions change or water quality has improved.
