Drugs and weapon seized during search
Two Kimberley males are facing drug charges after a search warrant was executed late on January 6.
The RCMP’s Kimberley/Cranbrook Crime Reduction Unit obtained a search warrant and with the assistance of Cranbrook and Kimberley General Duty members searched a residence on 6th Avenue in Kimberley.
Seized during the search was small quantity of marijuana and evidence to support drug trafficking charges along with a large machete.
Two males (21 and 22) were taken into custody; they have since been released for court in March.
