Family-focused affordable housing opens in Invermere
The official opening of an 18-unit apartment complex providing affordable housing, specifically for low to moderate income families, was held August 11 with a variety of regional dignitaries in attendance.
Hanna Capilo, a young mother and resident of the complex shared her story of how having access to affordable housing has positively impacted her young family’s development and their ability to engage the community, and develop in a healthy way.
The complex is located at 218 10th Avenue in Invermere.
