Fernie woman Community Futures Volunteer of the Year

Community Futures East Kootenay (CFEK) is proud to announce that Gayle Taylor was awarded Community Futures Volunteer of the Year at the Community Futures British Columbia 2014 Provincial Conference and AGM.

CFEK Chair Mike Guarnery said, “Gayle Taylor enthusiastically represented the City of Fernie and its business community as a CFEK Director for an impressive 14 years before retiring from the CFEK Board of Directors at the 2014 AGM.  Gayle’s commitment to Community Future’s principles and core values was unmatched, and her presence at the table has been missed by her colleagues.  Volunteer of the Year is a fitting tribute to the many years of dedicated volunteer work and thoughtful insight that helped raise the game of the entire organization.”

Congratulations to Gayle on behalf of the entire Board and staff of CFEK.
