It was just like home: Santa Claus
Santa Claus was made right at home by Cranbrook residents and Santa Claus Parade organizer JCI Kootenay last Friday (Nov. 27).
Noting how he and his missus enjoyed the brisk, cold weather, Santa Claus said he “felt right at home” during the 45th annual parade down Baker Street. Of course, the Jolly One was referring to the North Pole where his legion of elves are in the final stretch completing this Christmas’s presents for all good boys and girls.
With the 7 p.m. parade-time temperature at -17 C, the parade was a bit quicker than in year’s past, such as last year when it poured with rain.
