College of the Rockies’ MAISHA (Maternal Access and Infant Survival for Health Advancement) project representatives (L-R) Suzanne Pederson and Winnie Koima are excited about the arrival of Emergency Obstetric Care (EmOC) equipment. The supplies, funded by the Government of Canada, will be used to support training activities in Kenya by qualified EmOC trainers from the Ministry of Health, Kenya and Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.
