MBSS students golden at Provincial Skills Canada
On April 15, the Kootenay region was well represented at the Provincial Skills Canada competition in Abbotsford.
Students from Mount Baker Secondary and Golden Secondary Schools competed in events ranging from Cabinetmaking to Video/TV Production.
Congratulations to MBSS’s Devon Kennedy and Brandon Ouillette who won gold in TV/Video Production, as well as, Ravindu Ranasinghe, Adam Webster and Joshua Zamoura who also won gold in Robotics.
Cam Wilson, Noah Marasco, Brennan Weaver and Riley Holiday won Silver in Robotics.
Good luck to the gold winning teams who will now advance to the Skills Canada Nationals in Saskatoon on May 27-30. MBSS will be well represented at Nationals.
