Raffle helps out ICU
A logging truck full of dry larch was the top prize in a raffle to raise funds for the new ICU currently under construction at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital. The logging truck full of larch was generously donated by Silverado Construction and KD Electric.
Hosted at KD Electricâs Wheels of Steele 2 event on June 20 during Sam Steele Days weekend, the raffle was a great success and raised $2,410 for the new ICU. Event goers were treated to a showcase of talent and the opportunity to purchase a raffle ticket with a chance of walking away with a logging truck full of larch. The lucky winner was Darryl Spooner of Cranbrook.
