Cranbrook RCMP this afternoon (Feb. 6) alerted business owners to take extra care in securing fuel supplies following a theft last weekend in the city.

“There was a theft from Tri-Kon over the weekend where suspects in a dually truck stole a number of items, including two fuel pumps and a small amount of fuel. These pumps could potentially be used to steal fuel from other commercial businesses in and around town,” stated Cpl. Barry Graham in an alert issued to Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce members.

RCMP advises that local businesses should be aware and take extra steps to safeguard their fuel supplies.
