Kimberley and area has been experiencing a number of thefts from vehicles where windows are smashed and purses or other valuables are stolen, reports Kimberley RCMP.

The thefts are occurring in the Marysville hiking areas including Rails to Trails where vehicles are left unattended.

Kimberley RCMP is advising trail users to ensure they do not leave valuables inside their vehicles. If anyone has any information on the individual(s) responsible please contact Kimberley RCMP (250 427-4811).
