Swim pass for your thoughts

The City of Kimberley is seeking input from community members through an online survey. Complete the survey and enter for a chance to win one of 10 one-month swim passes to the Kimberley Aquatic Centre.

Responses to the survey will be used to inform the review and update of Kimberley’s Official Community Plan (OCP). Survey results will also be compared with results from a similar survey completed in 2005 during the last major review of the OCP.

“The survey is another opportunity to get involved in our OCP update project. Kimberley residents may also choose to meet with us in-person at one of the many ‘OCP in a Week’ events scheduled throughout the community or they might find it more convenient to participate online using our PlaceSpeak engagement tool” states Troy Pollock, City of Kimberley Planning Services Manager. “We want as many community members as possible to get involved, have their say and influence the outcomes of the project.”

‘OCP in a Week’ events begin Wednesday, January 20 and continue through to Saturday, January 23 at multiple locations throughout the community including downtown in the Platzl at the Green Door, Centennial Hall, Timber Hitch Coffee Shop in Marysville, and at Kimberley Alpine Resort.

Links to the Community Survey, the ‘OCP in a Week’ schedule and PlaceSpeak are available on the city’s website or contact City Hall with any questions.
