Following the day of fundraising, organizer Dubois stated on Facebook, which was used to great effect to inform the public about the event: “What an absolutely incredible, heart-lifting turn out it was today! Think our last count was 56 tattoos and over $2,000 raised! A huge thank you to Char Brehm, Debbie Elliott (pictured above) and Alexa Catlyn for all the hard work and long hours put in today; we rocked it girls and made a difference! Burkey’s Coffee House and Bake Shop deserve a big shout out as well for keep us caffeinated, hydrated, and fed!”
