Three charged with coke and pot possession
Four persons were arrested in Kimberley overnight following a combined RCMP operations sting.
Late on Feb. 11 a male from Kimberley was arrested and then this morning (Feb. 12), around 4:30 a.m., three more persons were arrested.
The combined Cranbrook/Kimberley Crime Reduction Unit had received information on the two separate investigations and was able to make the arrests. Police seized quantities of cocaine, marijuana and a white powder yet to be analyzed.
One person was released without charges, three others, two females (ages 28 and 44) and a male (29), all from Kimberley, were released for court in April.
Police are recommending charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
