Mainroad Contracting has completely blocked the intersection at Willowbrook Drive and Cranbrook Street, thereby completely blocking the transit route through to Walmart and the Real Canadian Superstore, the City of Cranbrook reported this morning.

“Realistically, Transit has no alternate access to the stop in the parking lot and will have to discontinue service from Kokanee Drive into the Walmart until such time as Mainroad reopens that intersection,” said Cranbrook communications director Chris Zettel.
