11 graduate from Bladerunners program

Graduates of the Bladerunners Aboriginal Youth Employment Training Program pose for a photo at the Copper Point Resort on Friday, February 28.

Organized by the Ktunaxa Nation Council, the College of the Rockies, Service Canada, the Province of B.C., and the Akisqnuk First Nation, the Bladerunners program held over the month of February provided Aboriginal youth with several skills and tickets to help them gain employment.

These include: Occupational First Aid Level 1; Food Safe; WHMIS; computer skills; customer service training; and employability and essential skills training.
