Canada Day celebration planning underway
The planning for Cranbrook’s Canada Day celebrations on July 1 are well underway.
Connect Cranbrook is super excited about the City of Cranbrook giving them the opportunity to host the event again. With one year under their belt, the organizers are focussed on making this celebration even more fun filled.
“This is the 50th anniversary of the Canadian Flag and we want to really show our patriotic colours by throwing a party worthy of this significant milestone. We are going to make Canada Day awesome to show how much we love this country and this community,” said Frank Hackett, lead Canada Day planner and head of Connect Church.
This year planners will be adding an extra stage so they can pack in more entertainment, and there will be an enhanced sound system so the whole park will be rocking. There will be more concessions and vendors, games, clowns and of course…even bigger and more fireworks!
