The first Gifts that Give Hope alternative gift giving fair will be held on Saturday, November 15 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Western Financial Place.

There is no cost for admission to the fair and there are numerous free activities including a public swim from 12 – 2 p.m., an all-day toddler play zone, a kids craft table, a skate with Santa, and more.

Christmas shoppers can meet and learn about non-profit organizations, make a donation to a cause of their choice in honour of a friend or loved one, and receive a card with a description of their charitable donation. Gifts That Give Hope fairs give shoppers the opportunity to choose meaningful gifts for people on their gift list, while helping others who are not on anyone’s gift list.

Blue Lake will be at the Gifts That Give Hope fair accepting donations toward our Campership program. Your donation will help send children in need to summer camp in 2015. The Campership program allows businesses and individuals to support children who would not otherwise be able to attend summer camp.

The benefits of attending Blue Lake are immense, and far-reaching. The camp community is unlike any other in opportunities it provides for children in a positive and supportive environment; the impact of attending camp camp last a lifetime!
