Sponsorship opportunities for Summer Day Camp
Send a child “back in time” to Fort Steele Heritage Town’s Summer Day Camp.
We feel that every child deserves the opportunity to attend camp. With the support of the Kootenay Child Development Centre, we have created this exciting sponsorship opportunity.
For only $150, your business can sponsor a child for a week of fun and education as they experience life in the 1890s. There will be wagon and train rides, ice cream and butter churning and they will learn about animal care. They will learn trade skills such as blacksmithing, tin-smithing and leatherwork and survival skills such as shelter building and fire making.
Your sponsorship commitment will allow a family in need to send their child to camp. Or perhaps you would like to recognize one of your employees with the gift of sending their child to summer camp. As a participating business, you will be recognized with your logo on the back of all camp t-shirts as well as through both traditional and social media posts.
Running weekdays through July and August, Fort Steele Heritage Town’s Summer Day Camps offers something for everyone. Each day will have a different theme focusing on various aspects of Fort Steele life.
