Corrina Girling Memorial to support new ICU

After hearing the announcement of a new six-bed ICU unit for the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, Dave Girling of Cranbrook Dodge took no time in wanting to show his support.

The Corrina Girling Memorial Golf Tournament was established to honour Corrina’s memory and in the past focused on support for cancer programs.

Since Dave and his team at Cranbrook Dodge played a leadership role in the pre-launch of the A Clear View – digital mammography campaign they decided to now set their sights on doing the same to help with a pre-fundraising drive for the intensive care unit by working with the East Kootenay Foundation for Health for its 2013 tournament.

The Cranbrook Golf Club will host the Texas scramble event on Sunday, July 7 with a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start.

The entry fee is $85/player or $65/Cranbrook member and includes golf, dinner, silent auction and prizes. Power carts are available (cost per player) by reservation through the Cranbrook Golf Club Pro Shop.

Entry forms can be picked up at Cranbrook doge or in the Pro Shop at the Cranbrook Golf Club.

Entry deadline is Friday, June 28, at 5 p.m.

If you are not interested in golfing but would like to find out how you could help with this event, please contact Buck Zroback at Cranbrook dodge (250) 426-6614 or [email protected].

The 2013 fourth annual Corrina Girling Memorial Golf Tournament is a proud supporter of the East Kootenay Foundation for Health.  All funds raised will be stewarded by EKFH for the regional hospital ICU under its charitable #11887 8677 RR0001
