EK Track and Field Club enters third season

The East Kootenay Track & Field Club sprinted into action in the spring of 2012 in preparation for the 2012 BC Summer Games. Now entering into its third season, athletes will have the opportunity to try-out and qualify for the 2014 BC Summer Games, other provincial teams and help prepare for school meets.

EKTrackThe club offers athletes aged 12 years and up the most comprehensive approach to the sport of cross country running and track and field in the East Kootenay. Backed by head coach James O’Kane and coach Jenn Doll – both athletes have excelled and bring a tremendous amount of enthusiasm to the club. James is a former National team member and veteran track and field decathlete. Jenn is a local teacher and competitive athlete who takes care of our long distance crew.

We are always looking for more athletes to be part of the team – beginners and experienced athletes are encouraged to come out. Looking forward to seeing you on the track!

Our season starts up April 1 (weather permitting).
