Get derby fit with the Mountain Town Maulers

There’s no butt like a Roller Derby Butt! “BUT” that’s not all that we have to share with you!

Join the Mountain Town Maulers, Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby team, for a six week high energy program designed to introduce you to the sport of Flat Track Roller Derby, or even just help you kick start your fitness regime and take it to the next level in 2013!

We will lead you in high energy classes for beginner and intermediate skaters where you will become healthier, physically and mentally, as you learn to skate ‘a la roller derby’ without the pressure of impact or competition.  Each two-hour workout includes off skates dynamic warm-up, on skates skills and drills, core strength exercises, and cool down stretching.

It’s a balanced whole body workout that’s never boring, shows amazing results week after week, and brings you into a welcoming community of women like no other!

An information session is happening on Jan. 26, at 12:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Gymnasium.

Derby Fit: Every Saturday, from February 2 until Saturday March 9 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the St. Mary’s Elementary School Gymnasium at 1701 – 5th Street South, Cranbrook.
