He’s a lone rider for a reason

These boards retail for approximately $1,000. They are made in Ontario. Bob, the pictured boarder, has been following them for awhile now. He’s written them and asked questions; to make a long story short, they sent him two boards.
He is/was the only person in Canada to own one of these boards. Although he has some surfing experience, he never skateboarded. At the time these pictures were taken, he had logged about 10 hours on the boards.
The picture of him going down the road, I was in the back of a friend’s hatchback, we were doing about 40 km/h, and so was he. That gadget in his right hand is a remote control that controls the speed. This board has the hybrid wheels. He also has fat knobby tires for going off-road.
