Local girls from the Elk Valley competed at an equestrian event at Tailwind Equestrian in Lethbridge, Alberta.

This weekend Bohomelic Coach Krista Anders brought a team of beginner to veteran riders to Tailwind Equestrian Center to take home a variety of ribbons.

It was a great turnout with the highest number in an event up to 14 competitors. Here Sommer Hagley of Crowsnest Pass, Angelica Goetting of Sparwood and Lauren Samycia of Fernie pose after Angelica won the Best Rein handling event (lead image).

It’s nice to see the growing amount of English riders in this area.
