Pond Hockey Championship registration underway
The Columbia Valley Rockies’ Pond Hockey Championship is being held January 29-31 at Invermere’s Kinsmen Beach.
Registration is now underway for Adult Recreational and Mixed Divisions based on age and skill.
For the $550 entry fee, teams will get a minimum of five 30-minute games, played on Lake Windermere.
Every player will get free admission to the Columbia Valley Rockies and Spokane Braves Kootenay International Junior Hockey League game at the Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena on Saturday, January 30.
The format features six players per team with four on ice at a time (no goalies).
There is an early bird draw for teams that register before December 31.
