Cranbrook Pro Rodeo is excited to announce some of the top notch participants entered in their 28th annual rodeo, August 15-17 at the Wycliffe Exhibition Grounds.

The entry includes participants from across North America, New Zealand and Australia.

Top of the list is Dustin Flundra, Saddle Bronc rider, Scott Schiffner, Bull Rider and Morgan Grant, Steer Wrestler and Tie Down Roper.

All of these young men were $100,000 winners at the 2014 Calgary Stampede. Several other past Calgary and C.F.R. winners are in the line up. Mark Nugent, Al Bouchard Curtis Cassidy and Dean Edge will be favorites in the Tie Down Roping. Lee Graves, Cody Cassidy, and Straws Milan will lead the charge for the Steer Wrestlers.

The ladies, including Lindsey Sears, Joleen Seitz, Deb Guelly and Kathy Grant, will be part of the 49 Barrel Racers entered. Rough stock contestants will also be show casing their and their stock’s skill throughout the weekend.

Included in the Bareback entries are Jake Vold, Matt Lait and Luke Creasy. The classic event of Saddle Bronc gives us Sam Kelts, Dustin Flundra, Luke Butterfield and Kyle Thomson. The ever-popular Bull Riding includes Scott Schiffner, Chad Besplug and Tyler Pankewitz.

To round off the rodeo two outsanding young ladies will be performing. Shelby Cummings the very talented trick rider will perfom all three days and Niki Flundra’s liberty act will wow the crown Saturday and Sunday.

Sunday is kids day and Saturday is a fundraiser for Stars Air Ambulance.
