Tee Off for Kootenay Kids Golf Gala
Get your eagle eyes honed because there is an upcoming charity golf tournament with a wealth of hole-in-one-prizes.
The Kootenay Child Development Centre is presenting a summer golf extravaganza at St. Eugene Golf Resort and Casino called the Tee Off For Kootenay Kids Golf Gala on Thursday, July 11 and Friday, July 12.
This will be a major fundraiser for the Kootenay Child Development Centre.
Awards and prizes will be given to the best and worst foursomes as well as to the winners of the various other contests held throughout the day. The evening will include dancing and all live and silent auction items will be given to the highest bidders.
Hole-in-One prizes include: Hot Tub (sponsored by Culligan Water); $10,000 Appliance Shopping Spree (sponsored by Willow Appliances); Quad (sponsored by Peak Performance Motor Sports); Car (sponsored by Spring Honda); $50,000 cash prize (sponsored by Al Dyck – Sunlife Financial).
Once golfers are registered, they can check in at the registration desk (beginning on Thursday night) to pick up a welcome package that includes various promotional items. During this time participants are also encouraged to survey the silent auction items. Appetizers and beverages will be offered.
At the conclusion of the tournament (Friday night), registered participants are invited to a large buffet dinner held in the St. Eugene Pavillion.
