Obituary for Gary Allen Bernesky
November 26, 1943 – April 14th, 2020With deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Garry on April 14, 2020.
Garry came from a large family of 15, and will be well remembered by many, for his years working in the logging industry. After retirement, he enjoyed spending many hours in his vegetable garden, sharing his bounty with many friends and neighbours. He could also often be seen out walking his little companion dog “Lucky”. She brought him so much joy.
Garry leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years, Donna, , step-children he raised as his own, Russell Wilson (Debbie), Sharon Carvey (Jim), his two sons from a previous marriage Michael and Rodney, grandchildren, Jody, Melissa, Dustin, Wade and Shae, great granddaughters, Angel and Marial, and 5 siblings.
he was predeceased by 9 siblings and his stepson Brock Jones.
Garry will be fondly remembered and missed by his friend of many years. Leslie Long and her mother Lorriane Hatch “Gram”, she will sure miss the cookies he made her.
