Jeannette Laura Pommier (Pighin)

Jeannette Laura Pighin was born on January 22nd, 1951 at the hospital in Cranbrook to parents Victor and Laura Pighin of Fort Steele, B.C. Jeannette passed away at her home in Skookumchuck BC, on June 21st, 2019.

Jeannette was the 8th of 10 children and was predeceased by her parents and sister Marcy. After finishing high school, Jeannette married Greg Pommier in 1971 and they began their life together in Parson, B.C. In 1977, Greg & Jeannette moved to Skookumchuck with their two daughters, Rebecca (Caleb) and Nicole (Rick). For the next 42 years, Jeannette worked hard building a beautiful home and garden for her family and raising her two girls.

Jeannette was known for her witty sense of humour and fun loving nature.
She was an exceptional wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Granddaughter Jordyn joined the family on August 6th, 2007 and grandson Cade arrived on February 15th, 2010.

Jeannette will be dearly missed by her extensive network of friends and family, including 8 siblings, Elliott (Phyllis), Sharon (Bill), Ernie (Toni), Barbara (Louis), Bernice (Mike), Daniel (Vivian), Terry (Icille), John (Janie).

A Celebration of Life will be held for Jeannette on July 27th, 2019 at the Pommier Ranch in Sheep Creek (3858 Premier Lake Road) from 3pm-6pm.
