Sharron Faith MOSELEY

Sharron Faith Moseley, aka “Bubba”, was born October 18, 1943 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Telephone Operator Eva (Lindgren) and Flight Sergeant Clifford Robertson.  Sharron passed away unexpectedly in her home on August 4th, 2020.

Sharron is survived by her daughter Heather Moseley (Gerry Sevinski); grandchildren Cody Dahlman (Barb), Tyler Dahlman, Joel Sheppard-Moseley, and Breanne Moseley; her sister Sunday Cousens (Doug), and her first husband William Moseley (Dominique) as well as numerous nephews and nieces including Dale Kari (Laureen), Darryl Kari (Barb), Kelly Ferris, Gary Steinmann (Carey), Paul Steinmann, Michelle Cousens, and Sheri Roffey. She is also survived by Harry’s children: Harry Cherney (Verna), Philip Cherney (Char), Bob Cherney (Dot), Debbie Blais (Walter), Charlene Holmgren (Corey), and Jeanine Lebsack (Jeff) as well as many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sharron was predeceased by her life partner Harry Cherney, her son Clifford Moseley, daughter Angela Moseley, her mother Eva Glass, her father Clifford Robertson, sisters Candy Steinmann and Myrna Kari, and her brother Kurt Scott.

Sharron and her family moved to Nanaimo and then to Vancouver.  On June 6, 1961, at the age of 18, she married William Moseley. The couple settled in Surrey where they had 3 children, Clifford, Angela and Heather. In 1974 Sharron and her children relocated to the Baynes Lake area where she remained until her passing.

In 1977, Sharron met Harry Cherney and they were together until his passing in 2009. Harry and Sharron enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family.  They took many memorable trips to California (Disneyland, Knots Berry Farm), Florida and the South with their youngest kids, Angela, Heather, Charlene and Jeanine.

Sharron was a founding member of the Baynes Lake Lady Lions Club, a Girl Guides leader, and participated in many community events such as the pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners. Sharron loved her small dogs and was often seen traveling with them to Cranbrook, Eureka and Fernie.  Her infectious laughter and witty sense of humour will be missed by her family and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to a casual outdoor get-together at Heather’s home on Saturday, September 5th from 1-3 PM.
