Alexander Charles LIDSTER

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alexander (Alex) Charles Lidster, 70, of Fernie, British Columbia, who passed away peacefully on December 1st, 2020 surrounded by his children. He is survived by his daughter Tracy Lidster (Ralph, grandchildren Mckenzie and Curtis), and his sons Chris Lidster (wife Anju, grandchildren Jaya and Maya) and Patrick Lidster (wife Dayna, grandchildren Charlee and Nathan).

Alex was born to parents Marguerite Shirley Lidster and Samuel (Mickey) Manus Roy Lidster, on January 22nd, 1950 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Alex was an outdoorsman at heart. He loved being outside fishing, hunting, and camping.

He was a man who enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life which led him to a successful career as a heavy-duty mechanic.  He will be dearly missed by his family.

Alex was predeceased by his father Samuel (Mickey) Manus Roy Lidster (1999), mother Marguerite Shirley Lidster (2001), step-father Jack Hodgson (2002), and sister Gayle Maureen Lidster (2016).

Due to the ongoing limitations imposed by COVID restrictions no service will be held at this time.
