Obituary of Charles Lennart Clemons

Charles Lennart Clemons

1941 – 2021

Charles Lennart Clemons took his last and longest flight on January 18, 2021, with his family by his side sending him on his final journey. He will be missed and loved with all the memories cherished in our hearts.

Charlie had a great love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, and travelling. He held a Canadian and US Pilots License and flew bush planes in Northern Manitoba and Ontario for tourist operators. Winters were spent in Arizona, where Charlie had a love for the desert. One of the highlights of his and Anne’s travels was the winter they spent traveling around Australia and New Zealand. Seeing so many beautiful sights, and cultures, the stories they brought home were priceless. Charlie and Anne retired in Creston Valley, where they developed their property and living their dream. Charlie was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. We thank you for all the memories, lessons taught and the love you showed all of us. We will miss you!

He is survived by his wife Anne, daughters Karen (Lyle) Gretchen, Sheri Clemons, Cindy (Neil) Whieldon, grandchildren Chelsey, Michael, Evan and Leya, aunt and uncle Mary and Jim Smith.

Charlie was predeceased by his mother Sophia Ghini.

A private family get together will be held at a later date.
