Obituary of Kimberley Anne Simon
1957 – 2021
After a short battle with cancer, Kimberley Anne Simon passed away at home on March 30, 2021 at the age of 63.
Kimberley was the eldest daughter born to Sherwood (predeceased in 1973) and Faye Simon on June 5, 1957 in Leamington, Ontario. She graduated from Brock University in 1981 with a Bachelors in Arts with honours in Sociology. She moved from Ontario to Kimberley, British Columbia in 2017 to live closer to her children and grandchildren.
Kimberley is survived by her mother, Faye; her two sisters, Mary Lynn and Beth (Brian); her children, Jason (Erica) and Caitlin; her nephew, Zachary and her two grandchildren, Melody and Harmony.
Her family was the light of her life and they surrounded her with love until her final moments.
Kimberley was a kind, giving soul that gave the world to everyone. Her willingness to put others before herself was always present, as was her optimism and positivity. She will always be remembered for her happiness and love of the world and her family.
A small gathering to remember her light and life will take place when possible.
