Raising $ for the Arts

30 artists are invited to participate in an art fundraiser that showcases the arts in the city

of Kimberley. Each artist is supplied with:

• a piece of plywood to art on

• a container of red paint

• a container of finishing Varathane

The artist will create a piece of art, incorporating the red colour that the city uses as its

signature, bringing cohesion to the show. Art work will be permanently displayed

outdoors (in a protected area) on a home or business in the city of Kimberley. The goal

is to fill this lovely mountain town with beautiful art that everyone can enjoy and

showcase the creative talent that lives in Kimberley.

Each completed piece will be on display in the gallery at Centre 64 from May 22nd to June3rd, 2023.

There will be a silent auction held on Saturday June 3rd.

The artist will receive 50% of the sale with 50% to Centre 64 to support creative

programming. There will be minimum bids set on each piece.

Centre 64 will handle advertising and social media to create excitement around this event and to showcase the art.

Purchasers will be asked to affix the artwork on their home or business exterior in a somewhat protected space.
